2. Use this mold to remark an outer mold, which is made from silica gel.
3. Fill in the outer mold with melten wax, and take the mold out after congealing.
4. Smear the fire—resistant material all over the mould, and the put them into the kiln. The high temperature makes the wax melt, and the wax will flow out of the mold from the tiny hole drilled in advance. This is called the ‘dewaxing’.
5. When the wax melts completely, you will get a mold made from fire—resistant material.
6. Put the mold that has been filled in glass into the kiln to fire.
7. After cooling the mold, break the mold , and you will get the work made by means of dewaxing casting. Then clean and process the work. |
